I am a student at Punahou School in Honolulu, interested in computational astrophysics and cosmology. It is a field that asks the biggest questions there are – where the universe came from, how it is put together, and where it is going.
For my recent research project Disentangling the Cosmic Web, I built an automated pipeline that extracts and quantifies the universe’s large-scale structure (walls, filaments, and clusters) from a 134-million-particle cosmological simulation. The project won 1st place in Physics and Astronomy at the Hawaii State Science Fair, which qualified me to compete as a finalist at the 2026 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
Beyond research, I founded Punahou’s student research club, co-lead the school’s astronomy club, compete in debate, and swim open-water races.
